The last time I went to Tin Tin it was before Covid. I've been really hesitant to come back because of the bad reviews. So after having a really nice experience I decided to post my own with pics
We went on Wednesday at around 4 PM and it was great. If you're looking for affordable Americanized pan-Asian food, that is what you'll find here. Staff was consistently bringing out refills for food and the buffet was at food-safe temperatures as far as I could tell. Service was good and staff were keeping the buffet very clean.
Buffets are a dying breed and I'm grateful this one still exists :) it's fun to go eat a lot of variety of food. Yes, it's buffet quality food, for buffet prices. If that's what you're in the mood for, you will find it here!
Really good, it's nice you can get as much as you want and you leave satisfied. The food was really good EXCEPT the Mac salad, that was the only thing that didn't taste good. Will be going back!
With the price of food nowadays it's actually cheaper to pay 16.95 per person here than some other nice restaurant where you only get 1 plate. I always get 3 or 4 plates at Tin tin, making it worth the price. Decent selection, not like Hometown Buffet (RIP), but decent enough.
We have never been disappointed except all the food is never out. we had to wait 20 minutes before we could get what we wanted, but the food is worth it. Just don't stop if you have a short lunch hour.
I have many memories of going here as a child. Nothing has changed and that is so welcoming! They still have their beautiful coy pond and do offer little bits of food for the kids to throw in if you ask. We take our toddler here after his shots and it distracts him very well. The food was fun, pretty good, and there were a lot of healthy options which was great. They do insist you wear a mask when you come in, and they provide a glove for use at the buffet to provide more germ protection. Our adult buffet was $20/adult but we don't eat a whole lot so it's a bit spendy. The kid was about $5 though so better priced than other kid meals. Very very friendly staff, some have hung in there through all this business has gone through over the years. They do have a HUGE reservable room for large groups. Happy eating!
Took my nephew here. Said he was hungry. Being a big guy I thought he would eat them out of house n home. He barely ate. Waited too long to eat. Charged me a small fee for him to take a to go plate due to eating less than what a hummingbird needs to sustain itself. Helped that they saw how much he did eat and I asked to have it added to my bill. Will be going back as I have been here several times. Never have I seen an establishment be that satisfying with service, as I think it came from seeing what was going on and being up front and honest with them on him asking for a to go box and me reminding them that I needed to pay for it.
The friendliest staff! The atmosphere was relaxing. There were 21 of us so we got to use the party room and love the space. The kids loved the koi d fish. The sushi was great!
Visited on a Saturday afternoon, and was pretty disappointed. The restaurant seemed pretty busy, but all the food tasted stale as if it had been there for hours. The coconut shrimp was soggy on the inside, but the breading had turned hard and crunchy, probably because there was little to no coconut sauce on them. The rib meat was chewier than beef jerky and had a slightly foul taste. I'm hoping I don't get sick after that meal.
